Composition:
Each 1ml contains:
Sulfaquinoxaline sodium                                 34.88 mg

(Equivalent to Sulfaquinoxaline 32.5 mg)

Pyrimethamine                                                 9.8 mg


Properties:
Sulfaquinoxaline is an anticoccidial belonging to the group of sulfonamides.
Sulfaquinoxaline has been used  for control of coccidia and some susceptible bacteria in poultry.
Sulfaquinoxaline – Pyrimethamine (potentiated mixture) are highly effective against Eimeria acervulina and E.Tenella than Sulfaquinoxaline alone.
Like all sulfonamides, Sulfaquinoxaline act as false substrates in the synthesis of folic acid (PABA) inhibiting the synthesis of folic acid. Pyrimehamine inhibits the enzyme dihydrofolate reductase, an enzyme critical to synthesis of tetrahydrofolic
acid.


Indications:
Thaminacox is indicated for the treatment of coccidiosis in broiler chickens and turkeys due to infection with Eimeria species.  


Route of administration:
Orally via drinking water.


Dosage:
1.5 ml Thaminacox per 1 liter of
drinking water for 2 consecutive days repeated for another 3 days after 3 days.

plastic bottles contains 10, 100, 500 or 1000 ml oral solution
